1. Service Description

Draftroom (“the Service”) is an AI-powered email drafting tool that connects to your Gmail account, analyzes incoming messages that need a reply, and generates personalized draft responses written in your voice. Drafts are prepared on a schedule you choose and presented for your review before sending. You always have full control over what gets sent.

The Service uses artificial intelligence models provided by Anthropic (Claude) and Voyage AI to understand your writing style, classify incoming emails, and generate draft replies. Draftroom does not send emails on your behalf without your explicit approval.

2. Account Terms

To use Draftroom, you must create an account by signing in with Google OAuth. This is the only authentication method we support. By signing in, you authorize Draftroom to access your Gmail account for the purposes of reading incoming emails, analyzing your sent messages to learn your voice, and creating draft replies.

You may have one Draftroom account per Google email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. Draftroom is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Draftroom only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use the Service to generate or send spam, unsolicited bulk email, or phishing messages
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or send abusive content to any person
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service
• Use the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Share your account access with others or create multiple accounts for a single email address
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.

4. Subscription & Billing

Draftroom offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start your trial.

After the trial period, you may choose from the following paid plans:

• Monthly: $30 per month, billed monthly
• Annual: $300 per year ($25 per month), billed annually

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan. Prices are in US dollars and do not include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location.

We may change our pricing with 30 days' advance notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. No questions asked, no hoops to jump through.

• Monthly plans: Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued.
• Annual plans: You are entitled to a pro-rata refund for any unused full months remaining on your plan. Refunds are processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

If you cancel during your free trial, no charges will be made. Your account will be paused but not deleted — you can reactivate and subscribe at any time.

6. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content associated with your account, including your emails, drafts, voice understanding data, and any edits or learnings generated from your usage. Draftroom does not claim ownership of your content.

By using the Service, you grant Draftroom a limited, non-exclusive license to process your email data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This includes reading incoming emails, analyzing sent messages to build your voice understanding, and generating draft replies.

We do not use your email content or personal data to train AI models. Your data is processed in real-time, and raw email content is not retained after processing. For full details on how we handle your data, please see our Privacy Policy.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, AI models (as integrated), algorithms, branding, and documentation, is owned by Draftroom and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service beyond the limited right to use it as a subscriber.

The “Draftroom” name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of Draftroom. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Draftroom and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Draftroom's total cumulative liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Draftroom in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

AI-generated drafts are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any email before it is sent from your account. Draftroom is not liable for any consequences arising from emails you choose to send.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Draftroom does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated drafts will be accurate, appropriate, or suitable for any particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time.

• You may terminate by canceling your subscription and disconnecting your Gmail account from Settings. You may also request full account deletion by contacting us.
• We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in activity that is harmful to other users or the Service, or if we are required to do so by law.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, but will delete your personal data upon request in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those changes. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Draftroom regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings.
